1178 A.D, Lord Riley II has set foot on the deserts of Ancient Arabia and this particular Palace he sets his eyes on has convinced him to have the ruler there assassinated. He sent many hired assassins to the palace but they never came back and the ones that did only had four words to say, "Go hire another assassin." 1811 A.D, Lord Riley II has sent another group of assassins but by sea, they've landed near the back of the Palace, where the security level is low. Can you guide them through the many obstacles they face and assassinate the palace owner? Sounds easy enough but there is a time limit.
:Objectives:
-Kill the Palace Owner
-Destroy The Siege Weapons (18 in all)
-Get a kill count of 30 (siege weapons count)
:Hints:
-The Building BLOCKS of life are closer than you think.
-Inside the cliff be something else that starts with a "c".
-Animal magnetism distracts even the king of africa's wilderness.
-Correct timing means more men survive for both sides. |

Am I right that this will be a bit like a strategy-RPG? Sound exciting...

its a bit more like the james bondish building infiltration thing except it isnt a solo mission |

Just a little advice, you could always get a higher map design score if you put docks on that circle looking thing or that narrow slit on the top. It could always raise your score. And put a little more oasis grass so the castle will seem self sufficient, unless it's supplied by boat, but then again its completely optional. |

Playability: 5
Amazing!!! I like the gards moving in and out, and a harder, but shorter way of doing it, or the easy, long way, in which i nearly exceeded the time limit. (I edited it down for one game on the editor.)
Balance: 5
A good balance, as you can take the squeeze (my name for getting through the swordsman AND pikeman army), or take your chances with the pikemen set on agressive. (I tend to leave 2 assasins to distract them.
Creativity: 5
An amazing idea that I have never seen on stronghold before! In most games of this type, you must demolish at lest one gatehouse, and more than one army, not to mention hundreds of patrols.
(I think there shoul be a new genre of "Infiltrate Maps" to replace the largely unpopular "Siege That" genre)
Map Design: 5
the rescuing assasins to gain numbers thing is sort of like that in "Ghost", where you have to destroy an evil army of wraiths in their haunted mansion. Having the walls surrounded by cliffs also is required, as it looks way better than two layers of crennelations. I like the engeineers with boiling oil acting as chefs with brimming pots.
Story/Instructions: 4
I like the story, and the instructions more than adequate, but not quite worthy of a 5.

I'm practicing this kind of map, but can never get it right. Well, maybe yet... |

thank you, after browsing through this site before i joined i never saw ppl think about a building infiltration style map. what inspired me to make this was the legendary game metal gear solid |

I guess this is something like a third person game? Great idea, I am already working for a long time on a huge 3rd person mission for SHC, with completely new map design and playability features.

Very good map, review coming. P.S. to people, this map isn't really hard, my suggestions, time is important, luckily you can change the speed of the time it goes.Gather your people, and move straight to the keep. Wait for guards to pass then move.
