a few tips (positions in north):
1. if youre rushing to build something which will be deleted later (woodcutter huts or..) try to avoid 7-10 tiles from northen dunes. Dukhs just wont let you to destruct anything, but dont bother about resurcing (stone, iron, farms) - only armed guys are in danger (siege weapons and engineers not).
2. give AIs an advantage from the start (8k is enough) cos they could be too scared to start their economy fast without decent defence for spreding out of keep.
Very nice! I like your method and style of mapmaking.

Testing the map :)

While I played this map I found myself with the cliche but fun scenario of being surrounded with enemies and not having too many things to use at my disposal but getting enough to hang in there until the ai's lose their strength,it was a challenge doing 3 lionhearts and 3 wazirs but I managed by setting up a strong position around the stone and iron and making sure swordsmen were always patrolling the outer areas of my keep place.
I found no glitches or problems but it was a little hard to enclose my keep because of the mountain but it made for a challenge with lionhearts all around me with their catapults. There was no issue with insufficient resources and I felt satisfied after playing this map.
Every resource included in the map was uniformly distributed on the map but the player keep in the center, while creating the ''player in the center'' challenge unbalances the map but not severely so a 4.5 is earned.
I liked the roundish-feel of the map and the mountains gave unique strategic benefits when I placed horse archers on them and positioned a couple trebs to lay down support fire on the enemy while they made the way to my base.
Map Design: 4.5
Everything in this department was pretty well covered and the oasis and hills were blended well and the keeps seemed symmetric (not the center though). The iron and stone were pretty natural looking nearby the hills and you blended boring beach areas with the right amount of stones to make it feel natural and sum up as a 4.5 score.
You had sufficient instructions on the map and they were useful but a story would have boosted the score in this area quite a bit.
Overall, this is an excellent map from a very good mapmaker who likes roughing it and I recommend this map and encourage the mapmaker to continue.
