Outlaw Canyon

Author File Description

File Details
Map Size: 400x400 (Large)
Number of Players: 6
Balance: Unbalanced
Difficulty: Normal
Made with version: 1.1
Meeting with ones overlord is always a chancy event. This is especially true when said overlord is a pudgy fanatic churchman. Sinking to one knee you kiss the proffered ring indicating your respect for the church and your submission to your overlord. The Abbot waves his hand toward a stool. You would rather stand as the stool is small and uncomfortable. The Abbot of Stirling, noticing your involuntary grimace immediately begins lecturing you on the danger to your soul for loving the comfort of flesh. This train of thought leads the Abbot into the dangerous territory of relationships with the neighboring Lords. With a sinking heart you desperately counsel caution.

"Lords, shouted the Abbot, outlaws, renagades, aspostates and down right heatherns. It's a sin and a blot on our souls to allow these creatures to exist on our holy soil. Why just look at what they call themselves, Snake, Pig, Wolf, and Wazir their very names proclaim themselves outlaws. No more words! I command you to prepare for war. We attack in one week. Do not fail me or I will crush you and put a good churchman in charge of your fief."

You dare not disobey a direct command from your overload even if he is an idiot. With a heavy heart and dismay at the near impossible task ahead you take your leave.

This a save map. It will play on any version of Crusader as is, however, if you wish to change the name from Outlaw Canyon.sav to Outlaw and place it in the map folder it will then play as a regular crusader map. I have tested this map with most AI's and I think this alignment works well.

Bartimaeus M place the save file in the save folder and load from the first menu like any sav file, or change the .sav ending to .map and place in the map folder. Then you have the map. I hope this helps. If you still have problems e-mail me. My address is in my profile.

Bartimaeus M no.. i know that... but dont you send the map file with it?? also its because the AI suck..

the wazer (or something) doesnt attack or has trouble building

the abbot keeps wasting money and asking for wood.. he like sells 6 wood then buys 6 O.O

snake is ok and so is the pig and the wolf is easy because he is so close to me

thats the reason i was wondering if you going to add the *map file* to the zip

also where do you get the two extra AI's because i have the Shirrif and the emperor fredick and prince phillip

but not
The Wazir
The Emir
The Nizar
The Marshal
and The Abbot

The map file is there, all you have to do is change the name from .sav to .map and you have the map file. The extra AI's are in the Warchest version of Crusader.

Bartimaeus M ok thanks for telling me..
Lord Wendel Can I download the extra AI's or do I have to buy the Warchest. Cause I have just the Version 1.1 please let me know.
surajsubba Any form of distrubution of the AI files outside of the 3 free AIs provided by FireFly Studios is considered illegal. To get the other AIs you'd have to buy the "Warchest Edition". It's been a while since it's release but you still might find it in some stores or there's an option of online purchase as well.
