Centuries ago, this crater was an active volcano. After ages of building up pressure, the volcano blew its top and created this fertile crater. The soil here is perfect for growing food and crops. A mountain in the north has snow constantly melting on it, creating a river that flows down from the slopes and out to the sea. All you need to do is simply create a castle on this peaceful land. Corsairs and pirates never investigate this island, because from the sea it looks just like a rock sticking up from the water. Without the threat of sea attacks, you can live in absolute paradise on this island.
Inspired by Peace Island from the book Triss, a novel of Redwall by Brian Jaques.

As a pure castle building maps I really did enjoy the relaxation of this one. Castle builders will find many ways to make useage of this map, to me this is a very vertsital map to build on.
When I played this map for a good 25min it played out very well. Their was plenty of fertile land to produce from aswell as some stone supplies avaliable to you aswell. It fits into the island category perfectly.
Beyound what I was expecting to see, the fact that you used the idea of a crater island was very well thought out and it shows well on the map. Rather then a basic island you created something better.
Map Design: 4
The map was very well made, the usesage of the rocks and elavation seemed like an illusion when I looked at it, much like it says in the story. The only flaw I say with this map was the fact that only 1 iron mine was able to be placed, yet I had issues getting workers to activate it.
Short, brief, and to the point your story gives a fair history of your map. Seeing how it tricks foes into thinking it just a rock makes good reason for being a Castle Building Map.
Additional Comments: As the player I am I enjoyed the leisure of this castle build map.
Synyster I enjoyed playing this map and look forward to playing your other maps. Maybe even an invasion version on this map would be a good though.
