In these bare lands once a scraggly band of crusaders traversed the rough and sandy terrain with heavy feet for they were retreating from a mighty battle. What will King Richard say? a knight
inquired of a crossbowman.Oh he will surely be angry but it should not be too dangerous but losing a battle for my king drops my spirits like nothing else. When they finally reached the top of the hill they saw a vast swamp with fertile oasis around it and deer and rabbits living peacefully
in one harmony of nature.....that is until the giant asteroids started to fall,it crushed fuzzy little rabbits and smashed deer,it was a gruesome sight as fell all over the land, the men though the judgment hour had come and they all ducked down in a sand dune hoping and praying that they would somehow not get hit by a meteor.Hours later the meteor shower ceased and the men found themselves near one of the rocks and went over to inspect it carefully since it could be hot (definitely those weird crusaders) and saw that it was dropping out endless streams of liquid iron that cooled once it hit the sand in its liquid form and cooled.
Incredible!said a spearman, this rock could bring the king endless iron!we would be promoted and would be rich men. Then this must be the legendary heaven's dartboard, every 350 years God himself bombards the land with such rocks as the blessing for the Israelite's honor to him when they were here. Then we have really hit the jackpot this time a tunneler said, send a runner to the king and the rest of us to start building a shelter and finding some game(deer or other animals).
So that is my story for this map and for playing online I highly recommend a deathmatch game since your base will grow even sooner. Also when fighting humans be sure not to put dairy farm on the outside oasis since enemy ballista will make them into hamburger and always remember to enclose your side of the swamp as slaves might make it through. These are my recommendations and I hope that you like my map(first one really).
Oh, looks nice. I'll download and possibly review.

I like this map, which is surprising, as I don't usualy care for smaller maps. This, however, is well done, with great playability. The weakness of most smaller maps is the inability to space keeps far enough apart to prevent an immediate attack by mangonel. Playing two on two, the keep placement was excellent, which gives you the chance to develope an economy. Keep up the good work.

This is the first map i have reveiewed, so i may not be very good at it, but since you asked so nicely
I thought the playability was great how you could use the pitch as a defensive spot. It had alot of room to allow me to build an economy. It had enough supplies.
I would have given it a 5 but i found it hard to gather stone, since i did not have any on my side. But that maybe because i was having a me vesus all match.
I liked the marsh as the river and i like the islands, with the plants growing on them.
Map Design: 5
It was well put together, had a good balance, that some maps dont and the scenery was pretty nice.
I liked the story and the instructions, it got me enticed to do this interesting map.
I hope you carry on making great maps like this.
