Pretty tough to play as-is but I won on the first try.
It became very easy on the next time through when I relocated the stockpile next to the keep which I quickly enclosed by knocking down the ship and all the uneeded walls. ;)

I had lots of fun playing this map. It was not too hard or too easy. It was kind of in the middle. The first thing I did was delete all the unnecessary walls to obtain stone and create a good defence. Then I made a woodcutter and gathered wood and made many woodcutters to clear the trees on the oasis. Then I placed my farms and made my economy stable. I then strengthened my fortifications and went for the goals to win. The amount of stone that was available in the beginning ruined the fun of playing a bit. I noticed the bandits and the Arabian soldiers fighting each other frequently. That was the only bug that I faced in this map.
The map was a bit too easy especially because of the stone that was available in the beginning. The invasions were a bit easy too. Try to add more events to cripple the economy of the player when it reaches a good level by using events like fires. I am not saying that there weren’t any events but an event to bring the player to his knees just when his economy is prospering is a good thing. A few more invasions and right timing for the invasions will help a lot. You can also disable a few buildings. But always keep in mind to make sure that the events aren’t over irritating.
Map design- 4.0
Everything looked natural to me except for the coastal area. It could have been better. Try
using the different types of coastal terrains and a few rocks to get a natural effect. You can look for an example in the following maps.
Duc The Chevaliers-THE EXP-P3-Poseidon’s Lair
Dark water cathe
Search for them using the names.
The resources were well distributed but it could have been made better by mixing a few rocks into it. When the river merges into the ocean try to make it a bit more natural. Try placing a few rocks and stuff.
Then again when took in an overall view, this map is very good in the case of the terrain.
Creativity was a bit low in this map. I didn’t see much that could contribute for creativity in this map. I noticed that the walls to the side had rocks in them and you creatively made it so in order for the fortification. The story was creative and the map design was creative in the aspect of the resources. The river was creatively made to blend in with the other areas. I liked that part of he map.
You made a very small but enoiugh to set a good enough mood story but this is too small. So a 2.0.
Overall this is a good map although the scores went down in some areas. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for this map. I enjoyed it very much because it's a real eco mission. The opening situation is great. You "begin with (nearly )nothing" concerning to wood and gold and can try different openings. Further on restructuring the economy is often wanted (from apple orchards to farms, eventually setting the quarries on "sleeping" etc). Almost every building is needed (especially for food production but also for trading) - what a shock when I had saved my first 1000 gold and could not place a cathedral.
Never waited so badly for the wood cutters having sawed up a single tree. Also it was fun to cultivate the land on the other side of the river.
Did you mean fire to be kind of penalty for those not quick enough? :)
