Once this valley was a gigantic ravier, but the driver desiccated and thus the people who lived at the bank of the river hadn't enough water to till their fields and the remaining water became a swamp. This swamp was a birthplace for deseases and death. The people saw that they had no choice and left their city. But there were many resourcen on the bottom of the dried up river and soon adventurers came and settle down. But will they find death or glory?
This map was better than I exepcted. The ruins of the city are one of the best realistic ones I have seen. They just need some more work. The terrain was nice but could be worked on more. I played this map on full computer advantage and I still won pretty easily. The stone and iron was placed randomly. The shpe looked natural but I couldnt see an apparent reason for them to be there. Mix them with hillsn stones, rocks,iron etc. The concept of the map is nice. The terrain could use more detailing. The oasis land didnt blend in. You can use the three types of oasis grass to slowly blend it. I couldnt see any apparent reasons for the marsh and osasis to be where they were. You could add a river or a lake for more reality and good looks. In one part of the map you tried to block access by making maximum height terrain which didnt look natural. Try something else. I had fun playing this map and I didnt see any bugs except for the units sometimes attacking the ruins. If you try a bit more this map will be great. The story gives a basic idea but it needs to be longer.
