Minimap:
Your Arabian army was crushed by passing crusaders. You fled with the survivors, and were pursued by a small amount of European troops. You ran for days, and entered the nearby Byzantine lands, covered with lush plains. Now you must stop and use local mercanaries to help you defeat the pursuing troops.

Wave dates are 1204, 1206, and 1209

Start date is 1201

Very small map, but covered with grass

Walls would really cramp the place up, but you can dig moats with your starting slaves

This map is recommended for Arabian troop lovers, as weapon-making shops, armories, and barracks are disabled.

Bartimaeus M I've downloaded this map and it nots too bad, great to past the time but theres not much of the challange because the waves are so small. nice and simple though terrain (i like), made a simple economy and built about 60 archers and 25 swordsmen to complete this

Im glad you all like it, i can't DL the Stronghold PNGer, my comp got a mega-Trojan a couple weeks ago and my mom freaks about the tiniest downloads now, but i would be happy if somebody could tell me how to take screenshots on Crusader so i could blow up on the minimap area?

and yeah, i know the waves were kinda small, it was my first map, and i played it and beat it easily with about 25 slingers, 10 archers, and 15 swords, im sure i couldve beat it with less tho

the small waves are due to the story this map was based off of, i mean, if you had a huge crusader force, would you bother using like 100 men just to take out a few arabian wimps?
(not that arabians can't handle themselves)

The Hitman Yupp, the minimap is kinda weird... However the map itself isn't exactly bad, with little correction you could make it better, possibly adding more details, a lot more :D And Synyster what is "Viola" suposted to mean in your comment? xD musical tool? lol
Synyster Viola is a musical instrument, but it is also how you spell what is pronounced as "Wah-lah!" like when you reveal something... know what i sayin? you dig what im layin down?

I liked playing this map a lot. With nothing to annoy I was preparing for a final assault.But when it came I was deepressed because I won with immense ease. The first time I plyted this map the scroll for buildings at the bottom didnt show up and now the archers and firethrowers are grey and maron in color. What a bug that is not annoying or score reducing. I actually liked that.

Balance-2.5
This was an immensely easy to play map. I was waiting for the final fight hoping that I would get a good challenge but I was depressed when the invasion came. I won with great ease. If you make the attacking force large or do something to make this hard it would be great.

Creativity- 2.5
Your story for the series has a good creativity and is nice. The creative part of this map was the river or I think canal part. With beach terrain at the edges it looked really like a canal to me. Add more elements into maps and work more on them.

Map design 3.0
The map design was ok but could have been better. You could have made the terrain more interesting. The iron and stone was placed well enough. The oasis could have been better made with blending and slow declination into normal terrain. The area from where the invasions come was well made. You could have placed signposts on all foyr sides though.

Story-2.0
You could use a long story. This story is very short but gives basic deetails. Try to add more.

The Firethrowers were disabled, that's why they were grey, not a bug

it was a river

and the land was MEANT to be grassy and not "normal" and if you read the story you'd understand why
