When the battle was finally over in 1245 Alzakira the third did not rest that night. He feared that he might be too late to save his older brother and not that Alzakira is 46 years of age, and having enough experience in the field, he thought it is now it is time to take the fight to the caliph to end this slave trade and to see if not all hope is lost to find is 50 year old brother heir to the throne.

And so, after leaving the new fortified outpost (from map 2), 4 (and a bit) years on, the troops are ready but what do you think the caliph has been doing, when they marched the 120 leagues after 4 years of training and prepare of the weapons, the caliph and built a fortress upon the mountain side in which he tunnels iron and stone from. With the slaves that were once soldiers of the Blinding Illusion army, digging away the mix iron and stone while be watched by a legion of the caliph army.

When they got near they saw archers mounted on the wall that ended near to mountains blocking the way to the actual fortress. They prepared to defend themselves only to find that one arrow came down upon them while the archers and slingers on the wall ran from the walls in fear of death.

While the troops settled behind the wall, know there where no traps awaiting them, Alzakira sent a couple of assassins over the wall to see if they see the overall layout of the keep. When they returned they described a heavy fortified but deserted prison to the north with some old soldiers, now slaves working the quarries. They also mentioned a weird building in the middle that they though was a prison cell using the mountain itself. Also a huge well of some sort storing water.

Then they describe the keep in which the caliph hid with slaves everywhere but also his legion of soldiers not to far. Also masses of patrols not far west of them where they believe there is more then what meets the eye. The caliph also in his advantage has 2 pyramids in which one is covered in archers.

And so a battle plan was drawn and the next day in 1250, the battle started when the sun came up.


This is my 3rd map I have made and I (to be honest) got bored while playing and decide to make this with some little thing to place on the land to make it look less plain and a little better in the mini map.

You start with roughly 700 troops and the caliph has about 1000 (properly only 600 - 800 useful depending on play.) also 4k gold just to cover and costs of setting up siege equipment, thought I would be nice. (also you your few fire throwers well)

There are a lot of traps about and if you don’t look at the map in editor mode before playing you would understand (I think) what I meant by more then what meets the eye.

From this I hope to make the battle in which Alzakira the second got captured.

All I can say is take your time and have fun and comment if you wish (criticism is very welcome)

DragonSpawn looks great, but the mountain shouldnt be so square

thanks i noticed that but because i was basing the kepp squarish i thought the mountian could be kind of ok like that and the other thing i really dont like is the moat inside the keep in the north part but thats mainly there because i main idea is that you are meant to take the caliph full on to save your brother in the north

apart from that thanks
AZ ViTrAzhAs Well the invasion seems to be challenging, although a bit more work with the design should be useful

rather then say more design would be more useful , please explaion where i could do better but yer i understand what you mean but i wanted it to be more chalanging ans fast rather then slow because i know some details can slow down the process in which you play..
AZ ViTrAzhAs The siege is really interesting and challenging, but don't worry about the process - little details won't make the mission that much slower. Add a few hills, small, not fertile oases, rocks. Mixing them usually creates an interesting landscape. Small details would look great near the moat, too.

I would like to know if people have finished my maps, and weather they liked it or not because i know this one is finish able
