Let Mercy Come 1 - Escape (V1.1 Update)

Author File Description
File Details
Map Size: 200x200 (Small)
Difficulty: Normal
First map in the let mercy come series. You are trying to escape via the Great Forest from the King (snake) who foolishly declared war on Lord Lobos(wolf) and effectively destroyed the country.

This is my first map to submit. Please rate and review.

V1.1 Now out.

V1.1 - Slight aesthetic changes to scenario

Alien Lord92 Please give us the minimap. PNGer tool can be found in utility programs.
DefendHer There are two things I would like to say:

1. Take the time to design the nature. There are no hills except for the castle and the whole map is flat. There is a non-realistic looking river and forest.

2. Balance! Balance is problem here. You have way too many soldiers to defend your castle. Even when playing on very hard. You can just put em all on the stone keep and than make sure enemy wont destroy the main gate. Maybe I would put less soldiers to defend the castle and less soldiers attacking it.

But I liked the way the stone castle was built and the begining of the mission, where the lord led all the people into the fort.

Thanks for that. It's a small map, so I thought that the ownwers of the castle (which will be met in the next map...) would clear the land (much like the way the made hills for motte and bailey castles).
GrumpyGills Perhaps have the walls curve away at the corners, to show that the castle is in a circle, if it is?
Some variation in terrain height would be great. shrubs? rocks? could help.
JuBuOrangie Sorry I accidentaly reviewed the wrong map.
