A canyon in need
The caliph and you are sat eating a feast when a scout come storming in:
"sir,sir weve got news that the combined troops of fredric the 11 and richard the lion heart are marching towards the canyon"
"Hmmm...."the caliph thinks for a few moments
"well sir guldin i think this is time for you to show off what u have got to offer to us sarracens"
(you)sir guldin looks at the caliph astounded at what hes just heared."well...im...not to sure about this"
The caliph "You will do as i say u pathetic rat now get your troops down that pass to the canyone and stop the infadels" you feel a rush of anger come to yor brain but hold it and say "yes sire.....". when you and your men reach the canyon you find it deserted apart from 4 engineers who say they got sent by the caliph to help in your mission there is a note on a dead body you read it it says they come they killed they...."the letter guides off from that and this is when u ready for war!
This is impossible ^.^ You send 600 troops and give me 150...lower teh invasions.

Not bad. I think this could have been great map, but maybe too easy.
Also, map is too small. As enemies arrive, they arrive at the edges of
the map and my archers hit them as they walk away from me and towards
sign post. And no matter where I place my horse archers, they always
kill enemies walking towards the sign post. I think this is bad cheating
to kill enemy not attacking me. And on this map, I cannot avoid it!
Balance: 3.0
I have too much money and too much food. I can buy as many units I want,
so enemy has no chance at all to smash my wall. He just barely touch
my first layer of stone, and since I have lots of gold, I can make walls
10 tiles thick if I want to. Maybe it is more even if I cannot buy stone
at all and have to live with original castle? But then one good aspect of
game disappear (the quick and strategic castle building). I think better
more enemy and larger map.
Landscape: 3.0
The good thing is you did not leave any area flat and boring as it
is from starting new map. Many beginners forget to fill whole map.
A few negatives:
The canyon near keep is very squarish and unatural. There is no need
for this. Make it little crooked, and lower the edges unevenly.
Maybe place some plants on the bottom. If there is any place where water
should be, it is on the bottom.
Not one tiniest bit of water on map, but still many large trees.
This is easy to improve, just place a pond with little grass near and the
trees there too.
Since you allow horse archers, it is confusing that they can't get out of
the camp fire, because they can't climb stairs to the bridge. It is
necessary to delete part of bridge. I would suggest not allow horse
archers instead of player need to delete a completed working installation.
The bridge look way out of proportin. It is bigger than the biggest towers.
Why would anyone spend so much stone and effort to build something that
the enmy can run over easily?
Storyline: 3
Not much connected with the map. Also reading the story does not encouraging me to play this map.
Creativity: 4.0
I think I see what designer tries to do: create a map with lots of action,
lots of fire, lots of arrows, and also quick strategy castle buidling.
It is almost there, but again the map size is too small for this.
Additional comments:
Strange: I only get 5 initial wood, but I can place both a market and a wood
cutter! How is this possible?
