Hi everybody! I think this is my best map yet, so be prepared!

Story (fictional):
A long time ago, in sweden, there were many mountains, rivers, fords, and islands. This was defined the best place in the world to live. If you had to sail to Europe, walk to Denmark, and sail to Sweden to live in the best place in the world, would you? I would. But of course, back then, nothing was free. So the fights came around Felusia Ford and Pretorian Island. So fight your enemies and keep the land for yourself, the weak will not prevail!

-Pretorian island is a resource rich and rocky island to the north side of the map.
-Felusia Ford is the marshy area between the rocks at the southeast part of the map
-All AIs have been tested, and work fine.

I appreciated your review on my map and I promised to review this map yesterday but something came up and caught me just before I started playing but I got around to it today.

Playability: 5

I played 2 sheriffs and 1 wolf with full ai deathmatch advantage to them so that I could have a good game and at the same time try the map out during a long game.Throughout the game the ai's had no trouble building large,deadly,armed-to-the-teeth fortifications and they had no trouble placing quarries or mines and they made large and powerful attacks on me almost constantly.There were no other glitches or problems except it was a bit hard to get lumber with the trees in a circle around my camp. So you get a 5 for playability.

Balance: 4
Each player had the same resources and the base sizes were roughly equal and no place on the map had too much of an advantage over the others and although the map was unsymmetrical that does not subtract any points,the only point missing is attributed to having the keep positions being very different from each other.

Creativity: 4

Not too many people do something as ambitious as a marsh delta and that makes it all the more fun to play and I got a truly unique gameplay experience with a different ''feel'' from this map.A good deal of though went into this map and your skills are very obviously getting better as you continue,:)

Map Design: 3.5

The map layout was good although the tree circles and the delta seemed a bit odd looking since trees do much better in a map when lightly scattered throughout varying terrain but still keep in mind that palm trees don't grow on hills ;).The only problem with the delta is that it looked a little bit rough,I am no expert at deltas at this time but it looked somehow unnatural,you also might want to try different sized rocks and more elevation and some additional shrubs around the marshes and rocks greatly affect how rivers look so maybe the river was just looking for a few small rocks and shrubs.But overall the map was a very good job and I see your technique is changing and improving with every new submission,keep up the good work Monkcrazy5.

Story/Instructions: 3.5

While the story was short it was alright for a skirmish map and the instructions were informative and were useful and I like how you explained where in the map the places and islands are in the instructions,Well done.

Additional Comments:

This map layout is on par with some of Surajsubba's map's layouts and this map is a very good example of improvement by experience.:.)

And if you ever want a playtester for one of your maps then just specify it in the playtesting requests thread under the Stronghold Map Room topic.
