The second installment of the LMC series. You have a well defended fortress here, but as the enemy has landed down the coast, will you be able to defend against their greater numbers than in the forest?
You will have to gather supplies for the march inland, but it will require a fine balance between your food, weapon and soldier production.
I have taken on board the various comments on the previous map, and I am a lot happier with this creation.
I'm terribly sorry, but I uploaded my working-on-map, not the finished version. The last version is unbeatable, so I hope that this will be a bit better!
Enjoy
Well im mainly like to do the landscaping part for freebuilds but thought I would try my hand at this invasion. now it may be because i havent played many invasions but to me it seems almost impossible to meet all the requirements with all the scourges that happen to your cows and such. I maximized all my cow farms and leather makers as often as I chould and could never get even close to the req for leather and cheese. though i built a marketplace right away and the gold part was easy enough.
just my opinion for what its worth is theres too many afflictions coming back to back.

As long as you turn off cheese consumption, and balance crossbowmen/leather armour, it becomes a lot easier after a few years. Put your oil engineers on defensive stance and place them in pairs along the wall. You may have downloaded the old map which I accidently made unbeatable. You'll be amazed the difference 1 digit can make :s
Remember that the cliff next to your castle has plenty of room for towers, and if you have several mangonels constantly firing at the signpost, it can thin the enemy lines considerably.

I there any chance of someone posting a comment on how to improve my map?
