The Separated

Author File Description
File Details
Map Size: 400x400 (Large)
Number of Players: 8
Balance: Unbalanced
Difficulty: Normal
In this map, you can choose between two different positions. Players on the left have stone and iron resources, as well height advantage, while players on the right have countless lands of oasis. There is only one path connecting the two sides (in the bottom of the map), so you will have to fight straight forward every enemy in your way.

Good luck.

monkcrazy5 Now that i've discovered 2 forms of sh1 eyecandy, i'll try this great looking map!
monkcrazy5 A five would be stretching it. The playability is not good. You need to give more room, because wolf, abbot, philip, and sultan are malfuncioning right now. Not even rat could fit in the top right.
The Hitman Mhm, just tried it out... In fact I didn't saw one of the players on the minimap in first... But it looks very precisely done :) The iron's too much, but I'd say "why not" :D Somehow I found the terrain unique and non-used so far... It has little glitches in gameplaying, but don't forget that it can be used as a multiplayer too... Also if you think it will be too narrow for two guys (upper left corner) just you won't add one, da choice is yo'os xD
AZ ViTrAzhAs Well the landscape isn't that perfect. First of all, the desert mid plain doesn't look very natural near to the fertile oases - this creates an impression of a huge unnatural jump. The problem might be fixed by making the mid plain more "green" and slowly ending up in a desert kind of way. Secondly I really missed some more shrub and small details, like rocks. They would really make the highland more natural and eye-catching. Iron ore would look much better if a couple of large and possibly little rocks were added.

However, it's a decent map, if I find some time I'll give it a go.
SUBINDXSUBIN A 5.0 would be too much. The terrain is well done but........ it suddenly becomes unnatural on many parts.

This map is very very good for a first or second try.

Atleast this map isnt bad. It is nice to see something atleast like this after a long time. There have been a lot of plain maps lately.

I will leave a review soon. I have been busy lately and couldn't play any maps for a while.

Need to go back in search of any new good releases.
The Hitman Do not forget the map's idea... it was most of the bloody battles to be made in the tiny route below the mountain... there was an enormous massacre... if we lower the hill it won't be much special... I know it's far from perfect, but for a beginner I think it couldn't be better... about the iron, everybody thinks it's a "rare" resource and there have to be only a little of it on the map... Well just because it's much doesn't means it's a fall... no shrubs and random rocks, yes, but they don't grow anyplace, right? xD Reminds me of North India and Nepal... down there - the most wet and fertile region and only in few meters the height raises, not 2 or 3, it raises hundreds of times xD
