'tis a very simple map made by yours truly.
By simple, I mean it took all of the 15 minute gap I had between procrastinating and work.

I do not have a story, as any story to fit such a small, plain, simple map would only seem corny and not fit the situation.

I am not exactly hoping for great reviews, this map is nothing to be in incredible awe about, but if you wish for something to just have some fun with, then go ahead.

Quite literally, there is some trees, some grass, a river and a patch of elevated ground.

If you don't like creating aesthetic villages, then this map is not for you, you would most likely try, but go away promptly. This map is for someone who is willing to create a nice little thriving village out of thin air, in a small, and plain (possibly quaint) map.

If you like it great! If not, then I wouldn't really have expected you to.
It's just some fun I came up with.

IrishKern This map is a map to remember, one of my keepers. The minimap looks plain, but the use of rocks, trees and shrubs creates a realistic looking meadow kind of a feeling.

the river is very good. Before I downloaded the map I was thinking of how it could be good. Perhaps only the wooden buildings for a village feel for the small map. That is exactly what it turned out to be. This map is excellent in most ways, but one eroor was made.

Good placement of oak and chestnut trees along the river, BUT on the hilly bit, you MIXED oak and chestnut with pine, and the swampy tree. (I forget the name). This gave the hill a very unrealistic theme.

It allows for good play and a strong village can be made from this- I say download! Very playaable and very fun!

Well done,

The Hitman well yeah, you have enough space to establish a small village... poor, but sweet!
benokovacs You know the F1 trick?
File Author

and this has to do with my map, how?

... Nice post by the way.. 5 words... a record? :S
IrishKern Yes, the f1 trick is very basic. I made a large village and sent the rat to ionvade me with a rather primitive was fun
The Hitman I know, I know, but do you think the trick has something to do with the map? And when I know how agressive GG is, God help you benokovacs xD

Thankyou Irish Kern for your comments. Was it the Birch tree you were referring to?

I just included that patch because somepeople might have complained because there was no raised land.. I never liked that elevated patch.

And benekovacs.. I'd listen to Hitman! ;)
Sulis As a specific comment on the design of the map, and to support GrumpyGills, I happen to have a Silver Birch, and Oak and a Pine tree in my garden. They're not exclusive to specific areas and a good mix of trees is quite acceptable within the confines of the game.
Dembones8 Oh grumpy i dont know how you do it the map looks great and i will give a review soon
Map Design4.0
Playability: 4
It was fun and nice and simple rather enjoyable for a change of pace since I normaly make large stone castles.

Creativity: 3.5
Not very creative I remember playing a map exactly like this but i'm going to give it a 3.5 because this one enforces the small and simple rule more.

Map Design: 4
The map design was simple and humble witch made it rather enjoyable since it was a decent change from the whole "the more complicated the better" maps.

Story/Instructions: 3.5
The insructions were once again simple but it would of been nice if you made a story somehow

Additional Comments:
It was rather fun and SIMPLE sadly a virus deleted the map from my computer a while ago and I have no intention to re download

all in all great map Grumpy!
