-THIS IS THE SECOND VERSION, FIRST VERSION IS DELETED, Please download the second version too, it's supposed to be a lot harder to beat.
The File was reviewed when first version was up, so i still need a review for version 2!
Defend the outpost overlooking the only oasis in this desert, the enemy will attack with LOTS of troops in 4 waves.
Arabian forces tried to destroy the oasis outpost, you've survived, your house survived, almost everything else has been destroyed.
The Arabs want to finish what they've started, they will finish you and the outpost off!
The Arabian forces have been reported to have crusader mercenaries, or should we say traitors?
You've got approximately 280 loyal troops at your disposal, the enemy, has got over 1500. both weak and strong troops.
some reinforcements are on the way, don't expect many, as the troops you have were already supposed to be the rinforcements!
VERSION 2 Changes:
-Pre placed pitch ditches added, use wisely.
-Enemy invasions enhanced with Stronger troops and some siege engines.
-Granary relocated from the sea to inside the outpost.
-Terrain slightly tweaked.
-You've got a lot less slaves, around 3/4th of the slaves has been removed.
-You still have the same amount of money, but only 6 engineers instead of 20ish.
-Extra invasion wave added.
ALSO:
I'm busy with a follow up, in which you have to rebuild the outpost. |

Well, as I'm not English, I can't do a long and precise review, so I can only do a summary of what I think about your map.
Globally, it's a good and amusing map. The game is quite short, but very intense. The design of the map is acceptable, but I think you'd be agree with me if I say it's not a map which is extremely beautiful... But its' not ugly. I think also that put "Hard" like difficulty level for this map is quite exagerated. Killingall the enemies is quite simple, we just have to put the soldiers at the good positions, and it works perfectly.
Anyway, you should also add a scenario for your map. It's not complicated to do that. To conclude, your map is a good map, but I think you can improve it. |

The Design is good for your first map, but the map is too easy to win. The enemy had almost only weak troops while I had fire balistae, a "strong" castle and many archers. You should try to make your maps more interessting. The enemy should have strong troops and the player should have the ability to place pitch ditches and things like that, so that he must play very tactical. And there should be some cow farms thus the player can throwe the cow corpses. And if the player doesn't use this things he should lose. I just ordered my archers to stand on the wall while the swords men defended the fords, and that was all. |

I'm new but i had a blast playing this map. However, it didn't much strategy and my outlaws kept spawning where the enemy was. The map was definetely easy, since not even one soldier entered my castle in the 3 waves.
What I did:
I used my slaves to automatically built moat around.
sent all my spearmen and pikemen into the castle.
engineers built fire ballistas. |

You'll find the second version being a lot harder to beat, as for the "reinforcements" appearing inside the enemy, i haven't been able to find a solution for that. |
