Map Design3.5
I've just a question : before posting this map, did you seriously try it ?

Playability: 2
It's very difficult to evaluate the playability, because, after one year, we're attacked by an invincible army. I mean, we have at the beginning 10 Wood, no Gold, no goods, just some foods, and, in 1182 (the game starts in 1181), we're attacked by 100 slaves and 50 Arabian archers. So, in just one year, without anything, can you tell me how you can produce enough money to build an army sufficiently strong to kill the enemies ? How ? Because, me, I don't. If it's possible, you must give some help for the Players, because, here, the map is very too difficult. So, I don't think that a lot of people should really appreciate it (personnally, I don't). So, the Playability is bad, because there's NO playability. In just one year, it's impossible to do some things. Before the first assault, the wood comes just one time (early June/July 1181). On the other maps, the assaults comes too far. Here, it's the contrary. Anyxay, in any case, the assaults aren't proportional to what the Player could do. In the first time, we're very strong, so we can easily destroy the assaults. In the other case, the assaults are too strong, and come without a possibility to development. But, well, you're maybe a great player, the greatest player I know, I must say... I played on a lot of maps, and even Ericgolf's maps aren't so difficult.

Balance: 1
What I have to say here is what I said in "Playability" section. We can read this in the Review Guidelines : "might be way too easy or way too hard for another. As a reviewer, you must take your own skill level into account when giving a balance score". For me, the difficulty of the map is very excessive. And I think I've a good level (I've finished a lot of times the two Crusader Trail, so I can say I'm not a beginner), but, well, here, I don't see any solution in order to survivre. So, this is the reason why I want to know if you've really tried your map. If it's the case, you've probably seen that it's impossible, or almost (?) impossible to kill the enmies. Otherwise, I don't unterstand too why your authorize to make some farms. The oasis is too small, and we can't put farms. So, I put 1.5, according to the Review Guidelines : "1.0 - The scenario is too easy or COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE."

Creativity: 3
I'm don't sure that making an impossible map with strong assaults at the beginning is very original. In a way, it is, but, well, it's a bad originality, in this case. Quite frustrating...

Map Design: 3.5
Some hills at the North of the map, but not especially beautiful. There's a realisation, and some rocks are dispatched on the map. There's also a small river which go into the small marecage, but, well, it's not especially beautiful. I mean, there's a work, but, like your others maps I tested till now, I think you can do better, by adding, for instance, some other decorative elements, etc...

Story/Instructions: 1.5
A poor story... But, well, what's your intention about this map ? Making a hard map, or an impossible map ? I don't know if Alien Lord was embarrassed by the assaults (he don't speak a word about that in his short comment). If it's not the case, he's probably a God... Anyway, from my point, I especially noticed the assaults. So, if your intention is to do a hard map, please add some instructions on order to help the Player. Otherwise, I don't think someone is going to finish the map.

Additional Comments:
For me, it's just an impossible map...
