Author File Description
Synyster
File Details
Used with: Stronghold
This .zip folder contains two tutorials (one MS Word and one Notepad) that consist of the same information, but the MS Word file has pictures.

You will learn how to turn normal units such as archers, swordsmen, and even laddermen invisible! No, ladies and gentlemen, I jest you not! I am no David Copperfield, but I promise you that at the end of this act your units will be 100% invisible! So step on up!

(This trick does not work on Crusader)

**Updates**

Update 1- Simple update informing about how this trick does not work on Crusader. No re-download necessary.

Nice tutorial! You have made it look so easy that maybe even I might have a go at it. :-)
The Dragonheart Very interesting trick. I think I've seen it before.

One question: does it work with Crusader?

I don't think so, but I'm going to try it ASAP and post the results.

**No, it does NOT work with Crusader.**

(That would be cool though)

IrishKern Yes, I saw this tutorial on stronghold knights...I havent put it to much use yet, though.
Alien Lord92 Aww. This is this old trick. The bad fact that they are still visible in the minimap and archers and crossbowmen still fire at them even if they are invisible.

Yes. But there are ways of camouflaging their presence on the minimap (depending on the banner colour) AND if you think hard enough about it there are ways of decreasing the likelyhood that the player will choose to stop his missile troops within sensing range of the invisible troops.

EDIT
AND there are ways of making them less vulnerable to any arrow fire too ;-)
