Aww. This is this old trick. The bad fact that they are still visible in the minimap and archers and crossbowmen still fire at them even if they are invisible.

Yes. But there are ways of camouflaging their presence on the minimap (depending on the banner colour) AND if you think hard enough about it there are ways of decreasing the likelyhood that the player will choose to stop his missile troops within sensing range of the invisible troops.

AND there are ways of making them less vulnerable to any arrow fire too ;-)
