The map is of medium size. Much recources are available. You can not build woodcutters, which is a deliberate limitation to force the player to use wood wisely.
You have only a few soldiers, and you cant get more!! Because of this, you should beware of the wood/bandit factor in this map (you can avoid bandits if your smart about it) The map is made so that there will be distances for your people to the stockpile.... There are many victory conditions that you must pass + you have a 20 years time limit. You will need to be efficient and fast to secure Victory !! It should be a good challenge for most players !!!!
Story: When returning to your home, after serving the king in the recent war, you find despare and poverty. Your estate has been badly attended during the war, so its in need of good management !! You need to restore faith and hope to your people. The king has additional demands on you. You must help restoring the country after the war. Are you the right person for the job ?? Your King and your people are depending on you !!
Playability - 4 - This was a very enjoyable and challenging map. It kept my interest the whole time and I could see myself playing it again. It came close to being a 5 but I found the repetetive nature of many of the events annoying, getting the same message month after month started to drive me crazy. Cutting out some of those events wouldn't have made the mission easier as most of them have an effect that lasts for a number of months anyway.
Balance - 5 - This got a 5 because though I won at Hard at the first attempt at no point did it feel easy. In many missions the start is hard, which the lack of wood ensures is the case with this one, but in this mission this challenge stayed throughout the mission. I really wondered for a while if I would make the Gold goal in the time limit.
Creativity - 4 - I found the basic idea behind this mission creative, and the story that came with it also was reasonably creative.
Map Design - 4 - An attractive well designed map that was a pleasure to look at.
Story/Instructions - 4 - A good story that explains the map and gives hints as to what to expect if you do certain things.

Wow! I can’t say enough about this mission. I loved to layout of the map, actually I hated it only because it took my people forever to get anywhere – but that added to the fun of the mission. I liked that there was an abundance of missions to complete and that there was also a time limit. I’m would think that there are many strategies to working this one out, and I think that I may try to find others – though I can’t think of how else I would collect all the money in the given time. If you set everything up correctly, then the main problems that you have down the stretch is obtaining enough money. If I would change anything, I would have thrown in one or two wolf attacks to shack things up even more. Overall, it was a fun and challenging mission.

This mission is a waste of time for anyone who plays at the very hard level. Unless you think you can aquire 40 metal armor and 40 iron from 2 iron mines in a very short time span. And you still have to garen 14k in gold without pedler. even if you could do that with only 3 wood cutters (if they excape the fires) you cant keep enough land clear to produce the food you would need for taxation. 600 bread from 3 wheat fields (if they dont burn down).
