peter2008 Hi revilo575,

the idea of two sides separated by a mountain line is all right. Not new but the way the resources are at least makes a new setting.
Wanted to go the hard way and placed me top middle starting in a precarious situation - 1 vs 4 (Sheriff and Lionheart next, Nazir and Pig) with almost no resources. Spent all my initial stones for a square tower plus gate beside the stones, then fought down the hostile neighbours shooting at them and setting them on fire.
So the Ais work well on the map. Only they will soon run out of wood cause the palms you chose on the dunes do not fit to that ground and so do reproduce! (Have a look at castle builder map Thar She Grows [Trees Iva]if you want to check this out.)

The landscape's whole impression is interesting, dominated by the parallel lines of rocks, echoed by the trees and the river. (This resembles to the new eco map Broken Bridge.) The dunes provide a nice hight advantage. And the river contains many tiny fords.
Unfortunately most of the map doesn't look natutral but "systematical": The rocks are cut through rather coarse, Oases and minerals are spread out because they are needed, not because they fit to the place they now are. For example, there's no greenery all along the river (very improbable) but in two blocks near the corresponding keeps.

Nevertheless thanks for this try.
