Okay, I played a game myself being on the hill with 1 ally the wolf vs Fredrick, Sherrif and King Phillip. (heh easy fight i know but im not the greatest SH player i can tell you that). Wolf built his castle facing the wrong way which wasnt that great. The reasources could be moved just how i like it having the stone in the mid so you have trouble defending it makes the map more fun, same with the grass i believe it should be placed near the water anyway making it more realistic as well. Personally even though I was playing with easy lords i found the "Map" to easy to gain resources.
the map was balanced between each team the top highland "hill" had a strange looking pillar, if you will, fencing off the resources which the bottom didnt have. The oasis was different in the 2 sides (minimap shows it too), it is almost as if the lord on the high ground is set up to take all the resources from his team down on the ground.
I liked the idea but its similar to alot of maps ive seen, like i said the resources in harder spots would help again here.
Map Design: 2
The plain terrain was very boring, no rocks etc like i said in my past comment, in your next map besure to use the other tools SHC has to make the minimap and the ingame terrain look ALOT better. The grass could also be done better (oasis grass near water then outlining the grass thick scrub than thin screb etc.) Camels and more Cactus would be good too. the top hill looked unrealistic too with the random pillars of land to protect the farm (going into making resources easier to fence off once again). I can still see you put alot of work into this (the high land was cool) but i beleive you should just to that little more to make the map look more "attractive".
There wasnt a story enough said so only a 1 here.
I think the map was good but make the resources harder, add a story, and give more detail to the desert, water and other features.
