whan the crusader came to egypt this city was in the east of egypt so it must have been easy for them to attack .Because in order to take all egypt u must attack the heart. And this city was the secomd powerful city in egypt after alexandria but it was attacked so many times so it's power ran out but when the new lord came he tried to rise his city but the attacking will not stop so in order to save the city.........
1-You must build a defence quick.
2-You must get plenty of food.
3-You must strong the walls.
Notice:This is my frist map so i hope you liked it.
Phew, tough and short mission because time really is scarce. When you haven't already gained a foothold a first invasion does severe damage. After a period of grace the final waves of attackers come quickly one after the other.
You are probably meant to concentrate working on your stronghold. I tried to keep on cultivating the eastern bank, too. For this I closed the fords with gates putting pitches in front of them. This really confused the invaders making them split their forces.
Original is the idea of raiders patrolling in the delta (the yellow units - very annoying). And while the castle is just-another-square one the two little towers designed by the author himself do wonders in making it unique.
This scenario indeed provided me an impression of the late Mamluk empire (possibly) being overrun
The following is a pure consideration. The conquering of Mamluk Egypt by the Ottomans happened 200 years after the period of the Latins in the Levante. Why then not use Arab units as defenders and attackers? (Of course they would die faster due to weaker or no armour.)
