Dragol The lands a bit odly shaped and the water on the far left isnt natural, make the water go from big to small in some areas, make rocks mountains etc and other land detail to make the map look better theres a thing called Map Making 101 which can be found somewhere on this site (i think) that will tell you what you need to do im sure
peter2008 Hello, DutchNavy, on Stronghold Heaven

you shared a curious map with two faces.
The shape of the castle is of course spectacular. A close look at the map revealed numerous items of eye candy, e.g. moat around the stockpile, shaping the farms with different surfaces, the waterfalls. Especially I liked the stream running through the castle and the two little stairs at the northern wall helping to cross it. This all reveals that you worked with lots of fun and patience.
These qualities are to a high degree missing in the modelling of the landscape. Almost everything looks unnatural, implausible - the idea of the forest being interesting though. There's need to do a lot of fine work to create an amazing landscape. Concerning naturalness check out some skirmish maps, e.g., "Equilibrium: The Fall of Edessa" by Sulis or any of Surajsubba's maps like "Deep Blue" or "Of heaven and earth". These are like stars to leed you. - For eye candies see the corresponding map section and for both aspects the articles of this site.

Now to the gameplay. The starting situation is challenging. You lack most basic goods such as food, wood, gold - and space for the castle is shaped rather narrow. Instead you are burdened with good things that slow down the economy in addition. Well, I turned this castle builder into a castle rebuilder. I pulled down the chapel and the good things to partly get back some gold. Bought wood and wheat. Cleared the grass in the southwest to place one more wheat farm. Iron and stone I exchanged into more wheat and hop to start the ale-chain. Removed half of the northern wall and started to create my own home-made outline. Thanks.

Sorry for it i will work harder to make maps
But how the people makes those maps with low walls and much nature is hard for me
but thanks for the comments
Lord Damascus Judging from the minimap alone it seems your castle making abilities are quite well-off, yet your terrian needs some work, keep at it as this is the harderest thing to get right. Hints: use a smaller cursor size when creating coastline to avoid those streches of flat coast. Also make some hills, and some rise and fall in the terrian, as this will increase the aesthic value of the map. The equilizer button is a godsend for tarrain construction. For more tips, go to the map editor, found on the main stonghold page. Keep working!

The hyperlink might not work so just go to Mapmaking 101, on the homepage of SHH, and check the "lowered walls" how-to article.
