Phoenix Rising.-story extract-
The feud between the two brothers was drawing to its bitter conclusion.Achmed had survived a brutal campaign, only now he discovered that his father was dead and his younger brother had declared himself the new caliph of the city state of Al-Kirrabh.Your mission is to bring peace and prosperity back to your Caliphate-you need population of 100,blessed 40%(chapels-as mosques/temples)10000 gold,5+popularity,no lions and no invasions left in order to win-but it won't be easy as your brother has a few remaining saboteurs who will cause mayhem....
The full story is included with the file, there are two maps v1 is the easier of them,v2 is for more experienced players.
I would also like to thank peter2008 for playtesting v1 for me and that v2 came about to be more challenging.
I have added a few hints if anyone has trouble 'ceding' the castle, but basically don't rush the gatehouses, there is a sneaky way in.
UPDATE-I have added three save files for v2 (at different stages in game play)for anyone who wants to see the fall of 'Crac Du Phoenix'.
Exciting castle outline, wildly shaped walls: Crac du Phoenix. May the flames of battle rise high.

You should know that Lorde Dredde has added some game saves to his zip file to help out players on hard level or to let you see how things can work out in this map :)

Hi Lord Dredde, I have been very busy this week and have not had to much chance to try your map, I quickly played it once and lost my troops, it looks cool and the castle very nice.
When I get a chance I will play it some more and give you a better idea of what I think.

Hello Sir_Vet,good to hear from you.Yes this scenario is fairly hard but capturing the keep is possible, but requires timing.I have added save files-3 to be precise all at diffferent stages for version2,which even i had trouble winning!.Not to spoil the plot, but the answer to winning v2 lies in the map name,v1 is more like an ecovasion.Anyway good luck and i'll post a review for your latest scenario shortly as i've been busy finishing my backlog of crusader maps which i'll be posting over the next few weeks.
UPDATE 10/11/08 --Does anyone have any questions? Is anyone stuck? Or is this too easy?
