The Map: I used "Mission 12: The Ransom's" map for this invasion, because it has the very valuable 'cede castle' option, which I needed to make this map interesting. Though, I did change the castle totally.
Author's Notes: I think play on normal or hard, though I haven't really tried it on hard. I have included some hints and tips, and a walkthrough for this mission. It's all in the download, on a separate Word document.
Story: Part One's story is on the map. (Though, when the campaign is completed I'll redo everything, and include a proper story, to make it more interesting)
It's a good and fun map. Can well imagine how you sat there and kept on understanding the aspects of the editor. You've reworked everything with insight (also shown by the text) and selected good restrictions of weapons, troop types, and farms.
Using the wolves during the cede attack is original though painstaking. Depending of the site of the caves that is opened, the animals can do a good job eliminating some enemies thus conserving the hitpoints of the own melees. Or they can lay around in the stockpile area. (Then it's better to kill the Lord at last allowing many peasants to survive before the cede is finally triggered.)
The invasions come nicely one after the other, similar to the original mission. Think you could have left some repeated ones. For after the fourth invasion is killed there is silence over the land. And the gold request not yet met, so the feeling of the player's reward is decreased a small bit.
Once again, a good fan and fun scenario.
