This is an economics map, even though the major point of the game is the invasion at the end. I wanted to make it a lot harder (Amon Nareth influence) but decided not to.
Story:
You return from your summer vacation in Tyre only to find that your enemy, Defasfe, has attacked your castle and taken your army (The best cavalry in Edessa) captive in an attempt to convert them to his side. Furthermore, your idiotic duke, Koinhil, has ordered, among other really pathetic things, your recruiters to train only spearmen. Not even archers. With Defasfe sending one more major attack at you, how will you survive?
Well of course, you must break out your soldiers.
Tips:
None. Ever. Besides you should figure it out pretty quickly.
Notes: Just wait for my next map. It is called "Nerd and Friends" just to give you an idea about its plot.
1) That an eco map, where landscape is concentrated upon, must be that ugly (besides the shores).
2) If you promise a big bang in the end, make sure it happens. With the surrounding of the signpost extremely narrow, the 500 invaders just wouldn't appear on the map.
I liked the very rare trees at the start. Forced myself to wait until they had spread out. Also the idea of the outposts guarding the area was attractive. But another flaw: if you allow pitch ditches, then please make available any possibility to actually get pitch.
Perhaps a reworked version 1.1?
