Welcome to my second installment of my mini-sage'The Arabian adventures'there are nine missions-all working scenarios, which you can add/delete buildings to suit your own'castle style'.I have also added a readme to the file, but the maps tell the story much better as you get the 'feel' of the ongoing story line.
Any problems/comments welcome.
UPDATE-the maps work with extreme mode, you will have to change them from invasion to skirmish.
(9) That's unfair: in twos against the Wazir and a band of 50 horse archers already at hand. I usually don't use the circling-attack, but here it's suggsting itself. Happy slaughtering, especially of the Wazir's fire throwers.
(10) Most things are built and running when you come to your new castle. Felt like an Earl "Expert-in-desert-warfare" sent to an outpost to brush things up and tell the guys how to charge.
Funny: attacked from the eastern flank, and behind the Caliph's walls (err, ruins) I placed four trebs to bring down the western Rat.
(11) Oo, no walls around the town here? But lots of gold to get everything inside.
(12) As well, there is enough gold. Bought many xbows (to say nothing of leather armour).
(13) Four Caliphs joined together. Had to attack with a "small" army first. Knights did well raiding quarries and farms.
(14) Comparatively more building-up needed here :), and there's not thaaat much starting gold :).
(15) Again you have to build up about the half of the town. But the others are on the same level. Used the situation for heavy attacks against the enemies (trebuchets). When an enemy has vanished you are rewarded in valuable free farm land.
(16) Nice skirmishes against a Wazir in the beginning.
General thoughts. I would welcome if you gave the player few starting gold (and starting goods) only. Often I had no need to look around and re-organize things. Whenever I'm able to buy lots of weapons instead of being forced to produce them myself, something seems to be too good. I can simply train more or less my standard army and march through. Also there was no need of assisting the allies, they just did their own jobs.
Thus most of these missions are rather quick fun than thrilling fun.
I always like how you "hide" the iron deposits into the mountains.

Hi peter2008,thanks for the comments-always welcome. You know me for my maps This series is EPIC lol!Busily writing scenarios for the next installment then a few weeks testing feasibilty etc then starting on the maps, what i can reveal though is your next ally is emperor frederick and your foes will be..
Update-thanks for the feedback peter2008.Have you been looking through my window regarding the next installment? little gold,no farmland and little mineral wealth(wood/iron/stone)to fight over?have a great concept for missions 18-20,i refer to my 'Al Hanak' and 'shadow of the scorpion'-where to place the walls? a locked map maybe like 'phoenix rising'??
