"Warriors of God, listen,
Our army has been defeated in the battle of the Desert by the army of the Infidels. The Infidels have laid siege to our Holy City and have besieged it for more than one year, building fortifications around it. But for no avail, they did not manage to brake to our walls as our warriors have repulsed them time after time. Now they have prepared for the finale siege.

You need to defend the city at all costs, it is the last stronghold of our faith. Numerous holy warriors (Crusaders, Jihadis) will join your cause to die as martyrs. You will have to fight of the Infidels and kill them, if you die you will dye as martyr, you will be rewarded in heavens.

God be with you ! Onward to Holy War!"


1. This is for Crusader 1.2 EXTREME, will not work with other versions.
2. Map will be placed in : My Documents\Stronghold Crusader\MapsExtreme. The map will be found in game on custom skirmish missions.
3. Default positioning is bad, is that you are the attacker. You need to move your starting point as defending player (if you are attacker map will not go well as AI is poor defender). Play on Crusader Game, not deatmatch or normal.
4. Need good computer, you will see thousands of troops on the map attacking you simultaneusly.
5. Play against your friend or an "evil" AI such as the Caliph, Wazir, Wolf or Sheriff.


I win the map, with great difficulty, but if you do not win the map and is hard for you, here is good help:
1. You need to take out the enemy outposts, they produce A LOT of troops.
2. If you cannot win the map otherwise, use the "catapult rock" superpower to take out enemy outposts. Take out those you see they produce much troops. If you are lucky, it goes from a single strike, if not, you need 2 strikes. Balance carefully when and how you use your superpowers.
3. No Man Land between you and enemy fortification is full of traps, your traps and enemy traps. Watch out, you will loose some troops when you make sally.
4. This very important tip : if the enemy manage to make even a small breach in the wall they will put fire to your castle, then the mission is as good as lost.

peter2008 Wow, would be the first invasion for Crusader Extreme. If it really is, the version must be 1.2-E, isn't it?
andyator55 its a good map but a seige doesnt really go well in extreme try it again in crusader and i find this tooooooooooo easy ill review thanks.

the map itself was ummm..... ok but it would be much more fun as a crusader invasion map.i only gave you a 3 because its way too easy you just wait to attack and when you have 1000's of troops you charge the enemy has no chance.

Balance: 1
As i have said before way too easy just wait build up loads of men then charge that's why the map is 100% on your side.

Creativity: 3.5
the seige idea for SHE wasn't a very good idea in my view but the way you have placed the map in the story is amazing so thts why you receive a 3.5.

The design wasn't very good because you still had higher land where you were, in my eyes trying too make walls smaller but the city is a different matter it looks really realistic well done.

Story/Instructions: 3
the story you provided was a little bit original because everyone can write ''our army is defeated and now they try and take our city''. this is just my point of view but please try and make a less original storyline.

Lord_of_Hell By all that's holy... andyator, dots and commas are made to USE them. Your sentences are unsolvable! Please do so and use dots not only to finish some of the sentences, but all of them!
Also I suggest you to read the review guidelines before to submit a review. I think this map deserves at least 3.5
lord dredde Great concept-a siege for extreme,however upon playing this scenario i noticed that all pre-placed troops returned to the enemy keep,whilst not a major problem(can be resolved via map editor)all those enemy troops assembled in one place made for an easy target and a great pitched battle.Well done
