Here's another historical map. It's represented by the 'Poienari' Stronghold. A short invasion map. Hope you'll enjoy!

*Nothing new. UPDATED just with the name. If theres any problem with the map, please comment.

The story:
After continuous waves of enemyes, much resistance and brave falls, the 'Poienari' Stronghold was conquered and strenghtened by the otoman empire and some Turkish allies. You was choosed to ghater an army and to take back this stronghold from a single invasion. Otherwise, failing, the massive army of Otomans and Turkish will be able to conqueat the whole country. Your job will be quite difficult as the enemy has many archers on the walls and assassins patrolling the gate and walls. Fortuvately you remember that some pavistes (shields) were hide just before the stronghold to fall. They hiding somewhere between the hills from this area. Find them and hopefully you'll succeed to take back the stronghold.

- Find the hiding shields and used with your fire ballistas to kill some of the archers.
- Use your catapults on the hill and destroy a part of wall.
- Invade with melee and missile troops in the same time to lower the damage of melees.

Additional comments:
- Hope this map will be fun to siege.

TwoDie When ill comment it :D dont wait for something good :) Some idea's i like of your map... going to see what you have done.

Have spend some time to review of the map... And i have saw your shield in minimap :D before that have search for them and havent saw them. In the beggining thinked that that crossbow men guarding (whatever).
About map, i can say first thing i have noticed that your water going in the hill :D then passage's is not natural... this thing is too not good. lines in river where you can a cross it. Its need to think about real world. I dont know where you can find that way of crossings... maybe of Humans activity you can see that. Rocks, too big and too much of them there. Becouse you can see the side of sharp slope. maybe from one side they look good but from other... its like and FireFly studios created maps if you not change direction of wiev, it look nice. So im not love to use too much of them.
And for now its all i want to say. when i will pass it maybe ill add something more.

Today i have test it. As and yesterday i have a tactic how to kill the lord. And it was right.
Take engineers to all 4 catapults, send on hill where was your troops destroy the wall. If it will be posible to go through wall then send slowly your troops (you can send with ballistas too). Then send missle troops near enemy wall. In that time your hand to hand troops have to already march in enemy keep direction. The end.

The Hitman Excellent castle, excellent terrain jsut needs a bit of details. Something like shrubs, bushed, trees, you know what I mean :)

From the minimap I can see that I'm overwhelming the enemy. Gonna check it out tomorrow!

peter2008 Highly garrisoned, this mountain Kerak is a deadly object. Eye candy how your forces have been deployed (eases the pain of needing a new attempt). Attractive the custom towers, exciting how well the melee defenders on the walls work. Special thanks for the siege towers. One can choose his / her favourite engines.

TwoDie - Yea it's not so hard. I had the same strategy and the hiding shields are just for "fun" but the missiom is beatable in both strategyes. Hope you enjoyed playing.

Hi again to all,
I wasn't satisfied enough playing this map and I'm going to submit a better one (the 2nd Version).

A few details:
- You will be charging a much larger army.
- The map will have "cede castle" event.
- The map will be a 400x400 one, not 300x300 like this.
- You'll can manage your economy and weapon production, before a massive assault shows up.
- A little diferent landscape.

It will be my first cede map working so I'll have to work more in playtesting and ballance.
