This is my first invasion map so dont be so critical. Here you came from east and find a nice place to build and farming.But...There is no resources like iron, stone and oil. They are on control of Snakes and Wolfs soldiers. You must build your castle, retake resources, and defend yourself from hungry animals at the same time.
Ooo! An invasion by you! Totaly unexpected - Keep'em coming. And I'll play your map and say what's good and less good. :)

Hello Lord of Fire,
I was curious to play your first invasion map for which I thank you, and like to note some impressions.
Your hills are very special, their shaping looks really original and interesting. Not simple single round dots but varied formations, edges and saddles. Of course, other parts of the landscape are still rough (like the big cluster of marsh in the north or the wide plain valley in the east) or unmotivated (some lines of trees). Work finer, with more variance on the ground (stones and bushes).
The game itself began with a beat of a drum. Enemies on two and four feet out of nowhere, great and exciting. Feels like your downfall. After this, I enjoyed cultivating the valley and building up a huge economy and raising gold. The concept that the valuable raw materials are guarded by enemy outpost appealed to me, too.
The only serious drawback consists in the lack of a invasions that would keep me on the run. Two of them is too few, the long distance of time between them (and the end of the game!) made me feeled bored. Would label your map as easy.
Perhaps you like to try the recent "Kingdom guard" or the 3rd map of "The saga of Uther Pendragon" by Lord Dredde as comparison. Play, try around and dare more.

So you don't want a review. Ok.
Winning the first battle from the starting map was tricky but only the pikemen gave me some troubles. I needed help from... the woodcutters! Yes that's right. At beggining I made how many woodcutters I could and they gone in the enemy direction (at 'work'). Like so I managed to kill some pikemen and then they died walking the stairs of my nobel keep.
After this battle I got my economy running on grass. I made some crops farms and apples farms. I produced ale and rased gold with the inn. Before the invasions proceed, I got a tricky idea: I saw that on my side of river theres no sing post so I fortified the single fort of theriver with lots o archers. Then the enemy had no chanse.
However there's 3 solutions to make the map harder. (If you find more please tell me):
1. You place a/more singpost(s) on your side of river.
2. You set invasions earlier.
EDITED: JUST REMEMBER A NEW IDEA:
3. You can place more forts.
Personaly I like number 1 and 3
The map design would probably deserves a 3.5 or 4.0. Also I like the variating hills that you made. Most good was the waterfall in my opinion. However the ground would look more interesting with some trees and bushes. Without the maps that peter recomended to you, I recomend to read mapmaking 101. It's a good guide for tricks and other stuff.
Overraly nice map!
