My first map to be PUBLISHED, not made but all others have been of poor quality(censorated ;) ) so. Well anyways the story is that you once were a king over a great kingdom. The dead, old Wolf's brother Lord Fairfang, returned from the crusade. As his brother is dead and their kingdom gone, he lead an uprising against you, and suceeded. You escaped together with your followers, to a nearby island. On this island, people still support you. However Lord Fairfang and his supporting rebel leaders(which aren't rebel leaders anymore) will not accept that you are still alive and will attack this island. It's important that we can hold off the attacks and build up an army, so that we can put you, great king... back to your former place, at the throne!

Important Notes
* I have playtested the map and it shouldn't be too hard, one problem is that it might go above maximum sprites but hopefully it won't.
* Invasion forces come in small waves, I don't know how to make them all come in like bigger waves, if it's possible please tell me.

* Removed moat from the second like battlement?
No big damage made though as only 2 ppl have DLed it.

Good that I made this fixed version of the map before more ppl downloaded it. Enemies now come in larger waves. The one you downloaded was a little bit buggy, this one is less :)
peter2008 Hey, nice to see a map by you. And wow, it's a good start. Saw prtetty details in the village (including stairs connected to rocks like we do on MP ;)). Also the scripting really impressed me, with a quadruple win message.
I guess, the problem of "lazy" invasions is caused by two reasons. First, there is little space to charge against. And between keep and buildings are several walls. So they lack the direct aim to run to or raid around at.
As result, I lost no man on very hard! Concentrated all the beginning archers at the first line. Built 70 xbows during the game and bought about 150 bows. The rest was a pure massacre with the groups of invaders approaching in columns against my line. Only few made it to the wall, one ram damaged my main gate.

I was about to give you just a 3, but then it would bring down the rating, so basically consider this a 3.25. With that out the way, lets move onto the map. I wasn't too impressed about the difficulty in this map. It is far too easy, and I totally agree with peter's comments. You should possibly remove some building options like walls, gatehouses, and extra weapons factories. Another thing is, in the 'Trader/Marketplace', you should not allow people to buy weapons, because they can acquire LOTS of gold by selling excess resources, which are VAST.

Balance: 3
The Balance is going to get a 3, because, like I said, it's just too easy. There are HUGE, and I mean HUGE invasions of about 1000+, but they are easily stopped by about 100 archers. This can be prevented by adding more space to the routes in and out of your castle.

Creativity: 4.5
One thing I must say, you have spent a lot of time on this map. Even if you didn't actually spend so much time on it, it's amazing. The idea, the plot, everything. Awesome.

Map Design: 4.5
Beautiful. Absalutely beautiful. Words can't describe it. There is a lot of attention to deatail, and it really shows. You could have scored a 5, but the fact that there wasn't enough space to freely move round the castle prevented it.

Story/Instructions: 4.5
You had the basic outlines, which isn't usually enough to get a 4.5 on my ratings. But the way you told the story is really good. Interesting, making you want to see what happens. This needs a sequel.

Additional Comments:
This a really great map. Despite my negative comments, this is an awesome map, combining a good story, beautiful landscape and the ability to add a sequel, which is one of the main steps to success.

I want a sequel dude!
