You are Sir Bob, an English lord who Is returning to his desert castle after the Second Crusade. Tired, weary (after days of traveling through the desert) and severely injured by an enemy arrow through the ribs, you and your personal guards suddenly see what appears to be a castle. You are relieved that you have finally reached your safe haven. But when you look closely, you notice where should be the familiar towers and gatehouses instead lie ruins and debris. You are both confused and furious. When you reach the castle, the survivors of what seems to be a large-scale siege are overjoyed that you are back and quickly tell Sir Bob (you) that an Arabian force invaded while you were on the Crusade and killed off most of the castle garrison, including your brother, who was acting as steward while you were on away. Suddenly, a sentry breaks in, saying enemies are headed towards the castle. Maddened with guilt over your brother's death, you quickly assemble what is left of your army and ATTACK (with fury)!!!
Several years later, you are still trying to rebuild what the Arabians did to you on that fateful day. Unfortunately, all is about to change. As you are strolling around your castle, you notice something appearing among the sand dunes which stretch out along the vast desert. Then you hear a horn blowing in the distance and a [really loud] battle cry. Fearing for the worst, you order the men to take their positions on the walls. A peasant comes running up to you and reports that the water supply has been poisoned. Now you are sure this is the end. You cant flee because there isn't enough clean drinking water left to travel north, through the treachorous desert. As the enemy closes in, you make one last prayer before heading out to battle.
Survive and Collect enough materials to build your castle.
Lose Conditions: Sir Bob dies or Fearfactor cruelty 1. The people will lose faith in you if you become evil.

I'm pretty new to this site and making maps so please please comment on this map so I can improve on future maps.
Is this map to hard or easy? Cause i think I accidentelly added to much invasions in the scenario :)

"Too easy", lol. Let me put it as a back answer: have you won the map youreslf in playtesting?
The plot is great, as are the tips. The idea to give catapults against troops is nice (I had many cows to throw).
Got an idea how my Lord could actually survive the enormeous waves / the apocalypse. Will try later and tell you the outcoming.

About "too easy", I was just wandering how close other players got to victory because I nearly did (i only got to playtest it about once) but a few macemen came near the end and killed the lord. I think building a thick wall in front of the keep and placing the reinforcements on it should help fend off the enemies coming from the southwest signpost. Anyways thanks peter2008 Ill playtest it several more times and see if i can make changes.

A designer should playtest his own scenario *many* times before submitting it to SH Downloads. If you wish to seek other playtesters for a scenario before you submit it you can post a new thread in the map room forum to tell members about a new map and ask for playtesters before you submit the map to the Downloads.
Phew. Seems impossible to wipe out the 2.300 enemies coming in within 3 years with 300 defenders. Built several kinds of fortresses but finally they reach the Lord. He is so stupid not to stay upon a gate after I have closed it, but magically hides away from there and reappears at the keep door.
Maybe a solution would be to give up the fixed position of the keep after all the enemy ranged units have been annihilated, then MOVE the Lord here end there with my army as defence. Thereby they could attack and overwhelm single enemy groups standing lazy on the map. But for now I've no nerves left :).
