Enclosed in the zip file is a .txt file containing all the health amounts of all the units in Stronghold Crusader. The text also has how much damage each unit takes from the different kinds of ranged units.
I found all of this data myself using a memory scanner/hex editor program.
Do you wanna know which unit takes more damage from archers than crossbows? Download it now :P
(Yes Pib/peter, you may use this in your information collection :D )
Also to note: This was based on data from Stronghold Crusader Extreme,so it may vary from the original Stronghold (although I would hope not).
So, Arabian archers (afoot and on horse) are stronger than European archers two times: against spearmen and against Arabian archers.
In-game, slingers appear comparatively strong against a Lord. This is not mirrored in the list. How would you explain this?
Perhaps you can add the damage inflicted by the two ballistas in a future edition of the list.
Would be happy about a tutorial how you did the job and what may be possible with the procedure.

Slingers may appear to be effective against lords because they attack faster, seem to have faster projectiles (less chance of missing), and are restricted to a short range (again, close up means less traveling time for the projectile and more of a hit chance, as the lord may not move out of the way.).
It should also be noted that the difference in their damages is relatively minor compared to other troops where the difference is in the thousands.

As for a tutorial, I would have to consult with ericgolf or Sir Hugh first.
Also, what do you mean TwoDie?

Yes, Dumptrailer is right.
It is very annoying, but there happens to be something about it that made my job a lot easier.
Also, it is necessary if you want to find the damage from units that do more damage than the defender's health.

Yes you can but you have to single out every single unit on the map using a hex editor -- something I have tried, but it is so time consuming it is not effective.

This information was very useful for me.
It allow to find a unit allocation in memory and thus to explore some properties of Crusader's units.
