The name was random, I just wanted to make a very desertic map, I like them.
Well, this is my second map, It's playability is awesome!... Every AI works perfectly, there's lots of war and you will always have fun like me on this map... Enjoy - Lord Klorkhlop
Hi Lord Klorkhlop,
welcome as active member of the site.
And thanks a lot for this very good skirmish map. Using the biggest map size for "only" six players rocks: All the valuable areas lay far away from the keep, you cannot simply wall in everything. Some parts, maybe, but you run the risk of oversizing your defences. Fighting for resources guaranteed. This is among the best ways to make maps of this type challenging.
Played the map against 5 AIs who had full DM advantage. It felt like hell and I fell flat on my face more than once. (The Lionheart's catapults and the Caliph's slaves worked well. And even weak units found spots between rocks to become nasty).
Also the map looks rather tasty both in the overall impression and in the details of the landscape. Enjoyed viewing the arrangement of stone and iron. The hidden frutile areas raise the feeling of despair and almost being lost there.
The same like here can be said of your "Forgotten Desert".

Thank you, Peter. I worked very hard on this but with an objetive on my mind: Make a fun map. And so I did. I was playing everyday Quaked Dunes. When I found something that wasn't good, I modified it.I liked it. So I'm happy of it and the time I spent on it. Thank you.

The name may be random, but aren't they all? Besides, Quaked Dunes sounds better than a lot of other "simple" titles. And the map looks great. Gameplay is fantastic. Good work.
