You need EVERYthing and everyone that is available to proceed, survive, stabilise popularity and make gold.
Tried the initial version before where dislocating the stockpile was possible. In the updated version, you are bound to the stockpile squeezed into one corner of the map while the green shore of a river is miles away.
You start with zero popilarity, 10 pieces each of meat and bread, and 21 wood.
Along the game, lions, bandits and invasions attack. Fire, plague, wheat desease afflict the lands, these bad events are triggered to happen repeatedly and thereby sometimes overlap which makes the bad effects adding up.
So, the player is on the toes all the time and everywhere. Food rations and taxes/bribes have to be toggled, woodcutter's huts broken down and replaced. And some more finesses are required that the player may invent while watching and supervising the processes.
As for units, you can only train spears and pikes. The battle with the second invasion was about tactics.
Realload, please write a story to the mission. I will review it.
