I am currently creating an enormous map that has taken a few months. So I decided I needed a break from it and spent an hour to make this small invasion. Nothing spectacular - terrain, landscape and castle took 40 mins to make, testing took 20 mins. lol So a one-hour-map like this is a waste of time for me.
As the leader of a small outlaw army, you come across an interesting but small castle. It looks way too easy to siege, so it can't be hard. Siege away!
I had a lot of fun with this map, the only negative aspect was the lenght of the game, which is unfortunately short.
I refused to use the destroyable wall in order to get in the castle and I focused on the gate filled with crossbows. It's hard indeed but after couple of tries (not so many) I was able to pass it without many casualties. Perfect balance in my opinion.
The creativity score is low because of the story which has only a sentence. But the creativity on map design is awesome, nothing bad to say about it.
Map Design: 4.5
I think this is the most well-designed 200x200 map ever. The dragonheart prooved that an over-excellent score can be awarded even on a small map where pointing the terrain design is a problem.
Just a sentence-long story. Another 'record' by the Dragonheart, pity it affects the overall score of the map.
