A very fruitful Place, the castels are in a middle distance to the enemy. Theres enough Stone, Wood, and green Oasis for food. But you have to look after where you get iron weapons....

This is my first map, so please comment if you find mistakes.

Enjoy and much fun

Von Kamstra Trantarx I like your map it is very good especially for a first time map, however, you made one very bad mistake by adding the granery to all the keep locations. The AI's tend to get confused and many will not build castles if they can't place all the buildings themselves. You are always better off to only site the keeps and let the AI's do their thing. For example out of the seven AI's I tried to play with 3 did not build castles. I would advise you to delete the graneries and submit the revised map, as it deserves to be played in the manner you intended.

Heroesflorian For a first map, it's quite well done.

You could add some more detail to the desert, for example small spots of grass, some "earth and stones"-terrain. Moreover, the border between oasis and desert could be a bit more realistic, if you try to make it no straight line, and if you use some "light bushes"-terrain - for example, when there is river on two sides of a piece of oasis, it can be bigger than where there is only one side with a source of water.

The stone spots look a bit fast-made, try to get no straight lines here as well.

Remember, if two rivers meet, the "new" river will have to transport the double portion of water, so he has to be wider. And trees probably will grow in greater numbers close to water than far away from it, so placing them near the river will make the landscape more realistic - but this may vary with different sorts of trees...

And some of the keep spots are placed quite close to the edge of the map, which may be a problem for some AI.

Now you may think "oh, sounds like he thinks my map is quite bad" - this is not true. I like the way the map is made, and for a first try it's great.
I just try to give you some feedback, for maybe improving this map and adding the updated version to the download file, or doing better in future maps.
And it looks as if I am better in writing a long text about what can be done better, than in writing a text about what I especially like at the map - what does not mean I don't like it!

Good luck with further map making!
