Armin- City of Angels
Enjoyable. The first time I played it was on Easy, I lost 26% of my troops. The second time, I took a big leap and tried it on Very Hard, losing a more significant 52%.
However, both times the enemy didn't manage to break very far into the castle. In fact, the first time, they only broke into the frontmost section, then just stopped and did nothing.
Second time, however, they seemed to smarten up a bit and managed to only destroy the first gatehouse, but by then it was too late.
The macemen could have done so earlier if I [the player] didn't have enough stone to repair the walls.
As for lack of food, I made up for that by building more good things, chapels, and setting tax to "Large Bribe".
- So, I would suggest you change the amount of starting goods, gold smaller, and more building restrictions.
Although of course there were enough enemy troops to actually raze down a single-walled castle, this castle was much different.
Mainly because each section of the castle is built on a different elevation. Therefore, the only passageway between each section would be by the gatehouse, and the macemen spent most of their time attacking the walls, which we know is useless.
However, the design of the city was excellent. The farms look, um, interesting. I don't know how to do that, but seems like the farms, although they don't have a hut in the corner, still work!? Good job!
It reminds me of a rainbow. lol
Map Design: 2.5
A bit unnatural, the ground in the middle was too bare, and the trees were to clumped together in the corner. But it looked realistic enough :)
Try to spread the trees around the map more evenly, and maybe some more shrubs around.
Well there wasn't much here. A longer description would be perfect.
(at first some of the macemen looked like they were destroying the walls, but when I looked closely they were destroying their own siege towers :p )
