Chapter 2 of 6. The Next morning you head towards the barracks and notice your soldier's faces sparkle as they see you.
Group of Soldiers : We have eliminated the Barbarians from the northern area.
All Soldiers: Roma Victor!
You are enlightened to hear that the operation was swift and only a few men were injured. You congratulate the soldiers and tell them the Emperor would be pleased
As you climb back on your horse and return to your stronghold you experience a number of different emotions. Spending three years in Rome, you remember again the sound of Swords rattling against each other. ! You remember again the feeling of joy after winning a battle. But most importantly you remember the power you command, the faith and the loyalty of thousands of brave men who are willing to give up their lives on your command.
The feeling of joy disappears when you realize that in a few weeks you will no longer be the General in command. You are confused if that is what you really want.
Back in the castle your friend and Advisor, Quintis, approaches you.
Quintis (Your friend and Advisor, who will also be replacing you as General), : "Maximus, the Emperor has sent an important message through vorelius ( The Emperors faithful messenger) he awaits you in the hall."
Vorelius tells you and Quintis that the Emperor's nephew has been secretly planning an attack on Rome. The Emperor has never trusted his nephew and always kept an eye on him. Spy's reports that Comedieus plans to create some sort of distraction and attack Rome with its small army when its Soldiers are sent elsewhere.
Vorelius: "The Emperor Ask's you, to command the Army and kill Comedieus and his brother first before they attack Rome If you are not willing, The Emperor understands as he has promised"
You interrupt vorelius: Tell the Emperor that the Barbarians have been eliminated and I will only Return to Rome with Comedieus's Head. Quintis, inform the men.
There are many ways to enter town, try to loose as few men as possible...if players find it hard ill post a walkthrough...dont kill civillians !!!!!! :) Rick
