Dont use only one kind of oasis... you have 3 kinds, so you can shade it more.. :)on hills you should use tools like lower ground, raise ground, ↑↓ tool. Also, you can find good info how to create good maps that look realistic here: http://stronghold.heavengames.com/maps/index_html

Well this map has got a good strategy to itall though it is very tough or very easy depending on how you make it because if your too close to the enemy they will hit you straight away or if your too close to allies they will steal all your oasis before you get a chance.
Although the problem with being to close the map has very even resources the only real problem for me was the fort on the top right has trees all to him self as their behind his keep.
This map has been done so many times before it was only a matter of time before it was done again, try to be more independent in your ideas as it will make your maps appeal more to people who are looking for a new challenge.

Well what can I say the hills are totally not realistic at all although you could try to merge the hills to the ground more by using the lower or higher ground tool. Also, you could try to add more realistic oasis because you got 3 types try to merge them together to give a better effect and to make it stand out even more places them next to a river or lake.
no story or instructions.
I have nothing against you personally but I've taken the time and lines to review your map so please take in what I have said. Also, when you do create a new map email me at Orangefruit@hotmail.co.uk Look up some nature or even just look outside your window for inspiration on hills and lakes. Andy.
