The Wolfs men charge. Attacking by both sea and land his numbers are many. We are too late closing the harbour gate, his ships are through, our defences overrun.
Port Agasus was once was a bustling city port exporting goods around Europe. The keep resides on the highest point looking down upon the rest of the city, the harbour bridge is retractable allowing ships to pass though the gate and moor up. Now the city is in ruins and the attack has killed or imprisoned most of our people.
We have been force to flee south to a small outpost in the wilderness, it is a land where bandits thrive.
Mission
Some of our men are being held in the swamp lands to the south-east, liberating them will help to flush out the Wolfs men from our armoury located in the highlands to the north-west. To retake Agasus you may need to employ the same tactics as the wolf by attacking both from the harbour and inland simultaneously. We have a limited purse so train soldiers wisely. If you somehow manage to reclaim what is ours, fortify the stronghold and build up supplies, until the king can send reinforcements. The Wolf will not likely let this lie.
This is a crede castle mission, I have tried to create as many puzzles as possible (Tried!!). There are also elements of an economical mission as well as invasion.
Firstly try to retake the Stronghold. There is no need to worry about food production at the moment, peasants will have to fend for themselves.
1. Start by collecting wood and iron for producing weapons later.
2. Rescue imprisoned soldiers.
3. Attack the wolfs men at our armoury and begin producing weapons with the wood and iron.
4. Retake the stronghold.
Secondly rebuild the city.
1. Alter city walls and towers as desired for defence.
2. Build up supplies and weapons
3. You must now feed the people so gather food
4. The Wolf will be back.
Nice story & ideas, a cede event, a fine minimap and complex objectives mixing siege, invasion, economic scenario and some "puzzles" creating a really good looking mission!
Too bad I don't have time for playing it right now...
Cheers,

Try building up supplies for weapons i.e. wood and iron (the timer in the beginning is disabled so events have to be triggered.)

A mission pretty demanding for Stronghold 1, created with deep experience.
You will always have few troops, during the siege and later the defence. Exciting introduction in the text file, great outline of the castle. Some parts of it still belong to you, others to the Wolf. Use both to your advantage: engineers play a decisive role.
Many conditioned events. :) Some timed events overlap (hectic). Repeated draughts of trees impose a severe danger: you may run out off wood.
Need to rebuild the castle. Overall, lots of playing skills and measures needed or to discover here.

Whith a few attemps , seems ( I repeat seems , can be wrong ! ) that some numbers in the triggers increase whith the level .
If the trigger is killing let's say 3 bears in Normal , become 4 or more in very hard , and if there is only 3 on the map ....
I cleaned opponents , but surrender for the economic part , whith resource mazed as they are life is too short to spend more time , sorry !
But the cleaning is funny as you are very short in money .
