From minimap, I see very good map. The landscape looks corect and only thing what I don't like in this map is too small castle. The mountain is very big, so this could be used. |

Playability: 3
I really enjoyed this map, vanquishing the area, but the scripting is very bad, you should playtest your maps before submitting, when a large invasino of 300 men arrived, I thought it's a joke, half of my troops were died, and the enemy rushed my army and killeded them in 20secs. Suddenly when all my troops died, I won the battle. I didn't know what happened.
Balance: 2.5
I mention again, I can do nothing against the attacking troops, impossible to kill them. If you playtest your map, you can balance the map to make it more playable.
Creativity: 3
I found nothing special in the map, if you wrote a larger story, that explains the state of the map, why the enemies are attacking or why do you win when your troops killed, etc. That would rise to score to 4. (Creativity for me includes the story too)
Map Design: 3.5
The map was ok. The river was very well detailed and I spent a little time looking at it. You also did a good job with the ruins, they make a good feeling for the map. But, you shall spend more time in shaping the landscape, and also spend more time with the mountains, they are looking so plain, try adding some rocks and trees, etc.
Story/Instructions: 2
If you plan to make a campaign, you must write a larger story, there's only a few lines summarized the story, the story is the base of a campaign. In a campaign a story will attract the people most.
Additional Comments:
Anyway, it was a playable and very nice map, you can open a thread in the forums to ask people to playtest your map, that would improve it better. I don't want to discourage you, but a campaign needs much more work.

A really nice and interesting landscape. People seem to vanish in it.
You're given a fixed force, and your job is to kill them all. Groups of enemy soldiers that scattered around, and very late some 3x 110 invasions. Great turns out that the melee troops are set on aggessive.
I could not win the mission: there is a second win condition, Own troops killed: 91, for which I was not up to as I hate bloodshed on my side. Most times, it is easy to shoot the enemy from the distance, either due to superior numbers, height advantage or - the "Attack here" function (game speed 90). Sometimes I let my knights charge, they love to bring down stone walls.[Edited on 07/09/10 @ 02:54 AM]
