The playability is an interesing factor here. I can say that everything is planned really well and all the options I'm left with are cleverly done. The problem is that the deer are the only food source and I'm saying this after quite some time of playing there is such a little chance to sustain an economy battered by plague and wolves just from meat. The popularity was always low and whenever something struck me I started going freefall downwards. I evetually got irritated and stopped playing. I haven't finished the mission I'm not curtain you can, but if there is a way it sure as hell is a slow one. I guess through churches and gardens which again reduce your gold amount and you are left with a couple of hunters tents right? Not sure but I'm sorry to say it a really tedious map there are too few resource availabilities and I can't even buy food. Sorry mate but I just don't like such maps this review is based on my own preferences, your eco mission is good and I think there are other players with more experience in those mission who will find it challenging.
Well, you know it! I had a really hard time sustaining the economy. The deadline was fast approaching and I was nowhere. In my oppinion you should have left the player with more food production options and trade availabilities.
The map is an interesting piece of work I haven't played many eco mission, but this was a well created one. For an extreme skillz test click the download above! It's not a straight 5 because it's not perfect there are still some flaws I mentioned.
Map Design: 3
To be honest I didn't like the design much. If you look at it it's just a square field in the middle of the map. You should spend more time as this map is a small one and it's not remotely difficult to design the terrain. I have no precise advise here. You just have to be more flexible with the map design and try out what works for you.
There are some directions around the map, but it's far from a good story so don't let that drag your score down.
A creative although difficult approach for a map I recomend this map for eco-players with a lot of nerves.

Played the map yesterday .
Seems unwinnable whithout some tips , as several workers in each pitch pit .
Using this tip , no problem to win .

legolas, you might rate your map as "hard". Because the path to win it, is thin and chances are high that players get overwhelmed by the bad events and stop trying the mission again due to frustration.
Well, there is need for being patient, to learn the possibilities and dangers. When you use literally each of the few measures left, the mission will play quite smoothly (besides the fires :p).
It's a map where everything has to fit to the course intended by the author. So I agree with the first sentence of the review by BattleMage. But disagree with the 2nd one. It IS possible to sustain a growing population by hunting deer. I always fear that the herds might get wiped out, but they keep on respawning.
Reached 5000 gold (normal) in October 1074, 10 k in May 1079.
Clues to meeting the request (read only if you are tempted to give up): find a balance of wood income, placing of hunters' posts and placing the buildings with whose goods ýou can generate gold. Rise popularity early, then x2 taxing (the only effective rate) is often possible. 30 fletchers are easy to achieve. After some time, don't be sparing with wells. The fire events are meant to be devastating. The water bearers add to the tax-paying population. After a fire, they can be disbanded and turned into workers. What keeps bandits away?. Bribes helps to stabilize popularity.
