After being banished from the kingdom, Steffan takes his best men and travels into the barbarian homeland. There are fierce people guarding this country and his goal is their leader. The leader is Duc Volpe a man known only in myth, Steffan's goal is to reach him and take his castle and the country.

There are many obsticles ahead and many foes to face, do you think you can help steffan reach the evil leader and take control of the country. Take your men through many barren lands and swamps while facing evil leaders who will try and stop you at all costs.

Build a small village beside a river on an open area and stock your castle with the supplies needed to build up your castles and army. Take on the rat, the wolves and..... a little suprise. Your tasks will be difficult but the reward shall be great, are you ready to take on one of the most fiersome rulers of all time.

This is the first of many missions that take you through a barren country occupied by dangerous lords. Please comment or review my maps i like to know what people think.

Senseisan A little over average map ( for my taste , hey ! )
Overall , balance is good , maid two attempts:
Normal 36% losses , no problem ...
Very Hard 90% losses to win .

Some little mistakes don't affect playability :
1 ) River dont reach the edge of the map ( just moat this some squares )

( You can't reach the South edge of the map in Editor , you must rotate the map when setting the end of the river , all designers got owned at least once ... )

2 ) Chapel available ( no stone )
Pikes available ( no armours )

3 ) Some bandits came , and ran away immediatly .

For the landscape , I can swear flat meadows exist ( at least on my own planet ...) !

For the story , as you can see at my poor english ( I am french ) for my taste the shortest is the best ...

Playability/Balance: 4
This map was very fun to play, built a lot of wood cutters' hut and there were no problem collecting the wood. I built nearly 40 hunter posts. So there were no problem with food too. The marketplace has no use in the mission. When the invasions came the 40 hunters pwned the spearmen and archers, made some spearmen to protect the lord, but I didn't have to use them(Hunter PWNage), made money by putting the taxes to max for a few seconds and my population was always above 50. After the last invasion, the spears flooded my armory, I won with 0% troops lost, 378 wood and 47 spears in normal mode.(I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I play in normal mode)
The balance is very good, the mission is easy(Hunter pwnage:D), but very good, there were no problems with it.

Creativity: 2
Only a few words 'bout the map: what was the use of the marriage event? I couldn't build chapel(no stone). BUT! Thats not the problem, if only that was the problem, I would probably have given you a higher score. The main problem here is the name and the campaign and the story.(In a campaign creativity includes story too) This campaign has no name, only "Campaign I". And the story don't explains a lot about your maps and upcoming maps. This campaign is lifeless, nothing special, I wouldn't call it a campaign.

Map Design: 3.5
Finally some improvements! The map looked pretty good. I liked the mount with trees in the middle, good placing of rocks and a well-shaped river. At map design this is your best map, I think.

Story/Instructions: 1.5
I wouldn't call this a story, it's only a poor story idea, you wrote your idea about a story, but not the story. As Battle Mage said, your main problem is with your imagination, which is very very limited. You can only expand it if you practice it a lot. Someone has talent for it, and someone has to get the story writing skill by a lot of practicing, you are in this category.

Additional Comments:

Advice 1: You still rush mapmaking, please spend more time with it, if you remove the limits of your imagination, your designing skills will increase too. (Quality is still, yes still better than quantity.)
I have to assume that you are submitting your maps like a robot and write something about them.

Advice 2, About campaigns: There are many outstanding campaigns on this site, for example
NAT's Conquest series, Dougleass' Andora series, The Saviour of Leugim campaign(The greatest community work), The Kingdom of Norgiron by Arn_AFe, or my favourite: The Secrets of Sylvandell by Sulis.

Take a deep look into those maps and storiess.

Advice3: Download WLD maps, in my opinion thoose are the best in map design, you can learn a lot from them.
