One of the desert outposts built by Arrais men,in order to ensure both a trading post and a temporar shelter to the soldiers marching to defend Kanyonhya has been savagegly attacked by Abydh Sayah armies. They killed everyone inside, not even innocent children were spared.Abydh Sayah marched on towards the capital city, and left an army behind to defend the outpost. When lord Calfyn arrived,he heard the news about the slaughter and become enraged. He and his troops marched towards it and defeated the enemy army, and he himself killed many soldiers, untill no enemy remained. It is now your task to come to the outpost, since Calfyn has to continue his march in order to intercept Abydh Sayah. He left you some troops to defend the outpost, but you may need to create more soldiers. It is not likely Abydh Sayah or his generals would allow the outpost to fall back in Arrais hands, without attempting to retake it.The king wasnt able to provide you with as much goods as at the Refuge, because the transport would have been attacked. However,he provided enough gold to buy everything you need from local traders.
glad to see you have taken onboard some of the comments from your first map.
Unfortunately, this map is still lacking in quality.
If you are going for grassy areas firstly go for oasis texture. Once you have the shape, switch to shrub grass texture and choose the 2nd smallest or smallest brush and blend that in with the edges of the oasis. Finally with the smallest brush size finish it off with dirt texture or the scrub texture. This makes it look more realistic.
Also, quick tip, use the thick scrub texture to map out where you want that lake or river to go, then place the river or sea texture over it. This is so that you won't have any patches of sand coming through which makes it look ugly.
Don't feel disheartened and I hope I wasn't too bossy.
Take your time, be more careful and in no time you'll have a wonderful map!
The crusader editor is much harder than the normal stronghold editor and I have always found it hard to make nice crusader maps with limited editor tools.
Best of luck,

I agree you need alot more detail in your next map. For a suggestion, download a good map and ask yourself.. what has he done that I have not done in my past maps. Take note of extra detail in the ground, water and grass areas. Good luck and have fun mapping
