Hahaha: Provinced. Scarce goods. Just woods, meadows and wolves. The mysterious power of alcohol alone makes your subjects master their duties.
Take care of your population's beer consumption. During your bold venture, wangle as much money as possible out of your residents. Kill all the wolves. And don't let them kill you, hahaha...
This map is not playable for now.
Hundreds of wolves (which make up the white frame) overwhelm the village at once.

There is a tip to get rid of wolves ASAP ...^^
When a running wolf collides a wall , he dies . Too bad ....

My apologies to the mapmaker. Sorry could I have been so inconsiderate. I had walls in the back of the head but refused to use that glitch which kills the wolves by closing a gap in front of their noses.
Now, it's is possible to wall in the campfire area and some trees. Quite tricky to find out the best way. Where between trees? And with some distance for the woodcutters' huts from the wall.
Then expand step by step and shoot the animals. Quarries and wheat farms make money-making easy on every level.
A drought adds some thrill, dead trees blocks shematic placing of buildings, so you get a nice maze.
Restriction of hops and ale trading is appropriate. Hunters' post and iron trading irritate (there's no weapons trading).

Playability: 3.5
Playability received this score because the wolves are nearly impossible to handle in the beginning, I can, but it's not fun to play with wolves in huge masses like that.
Balance: 3
Balance because wolves prevent you from gathering needed supplies and food.
Creativity: 4
This is a creative map because I've never seen such a wolf onslaught, good thinking.
Map Design: 1
Map isn't attractive at all, though I don't feel you tried to make it that way.
Story/Instructions: 1.5
Not a great story write up, try making a cooler story, it makes a map more appealing.

Hi all, thx for your remarks.
I know that my 'Cry Wolf' map design is as poor as my story/instructions are. I just liked the idea of fighting against masses of wolves and tried to make a map which is almost unwinnable at first glance. Having played the map for hours I simply wanted to share it with SH enthusiasts.
Considering the review I will pay attention to inventing better stories and design in my next maps. I appreciate the fact that there still are some folks who love SH.
