My first scenario in 2011. This map has an interesting history. I started making it over 2 years ago (end of 2008). It is then when I finished the shape of the castle (my skills weren't highly developed so I wonder miself how could I do that). After that I gave up. A month ago or so when I was looking through my maps, spotted it and decided it worths to finish it. My thanks goes to peter2008 for playtesting it.
Now, basically the map is about a revolt inside a big castle. To explain the pre-existent troops outside the castle, I added enemy macemen attacking them for the historical reason that some soldiers already escaped and the lord sent his troops to dispatch them. You, a soldier among them, take command of the group, survive with as few losses as possible, breach again in the castle, help the troops out there to get out of the prisons (because without outside interference, they can't do it themselves) and finally breach the citadel to kill the lord and win.
It was tricky to design things in this map as the idea of a revolt is not always easy to recreate but I believe I did everything well enough to serve to my purposes. Watch out when moving your troops trough the castle - many assassins set on aggressive will take out any unprepared strengths of the player.
Allright, sorry for talking this much. I could easily put my thoughts on a text file but then whoever would get on the map page would feel a lack of information about the scenario.
'Unhistorical' maps are not my specialty, my imagination isn't that good and the writing-mood is not the best right now so currently there is no story but I planned to make one as soon as possible.
This is imposable, how to kill macemans ,and to have enought forses to kill crosbowman,on all "wall towers"
Map is great,bat hard.

It's not that hard, only time and some saves needed. Anyone can do it with the proper technique and patience.
As for the macemen strike, try to order the troops in a certain way: Archers back, then assassins, and sacrifice the weak troops to save the knights and others.
Xbows have a strange height advantage - try to get as close as possible to towers one by one, and shoot to crossbows manually.
Thanks for trying it.
