It's good to see you have Stronghold 1 again, and WOW your design skills really imporved as I see from the minimap. :)
Will try the map out soon and write a review. :)

This scenario has an avarage gameplay, collect goods and fend off a few invasions. I didn't really enjoyed the map, but it wasn't that bad. It would be quite entertaining if you made the map much longer and harder, as the map was easy and the gameplay was very short, or at least the events and invasions ended too soon. I managed to gather the goods just after the last invasion. I lost once I admit, but that was just because I was too mean to train archers as one of the win criterias was collecting 10 bows. At my second try I had no problems with winning. The bows flooded into my armory and I could turn off the cheese consuming as I had a large supply of meat. Woods was the least thing I had problem with. Like at all maps I also took a look at the scripting. Again, it showed me only one thing: The lack of playtesting, but I won't beg you anymore to playtest your maps or ask for playtesting. It seems my words have no effect on you.
Counting the bad scripting and easy gamplay, the creativity of the scenario and the campaign is excellent. I've already met with some maps featuring Sir Longarm's story, but I have to say this will be the best one, if you manage to finish it. The story was excellent and you also provided a map (though it wasn't original, as you've said it is the map of France), which is a must in a campagin.
Map Design: 4
What I see from the design is that you finally improve and I have to say that this is your best-ever SH1 map (in design of course). I liked the overall design and now there were no unfinished parts and ugly parts, so I give you an inspiring and well-deserved 4. :)
A milestone again! It's great that you have started to care about the story.I've already said at creativity that the story is excellent. :)
