This scenario was fun to play. I liked it both on defending and attacking, but the most enjoyable game mode here is defending. First the terribly large numbers of the enemy scared me, as only a little crew of troops guard the little castle, but after a few tried I figured out how to manage the defences the most effectively and sonn the win screen popped up. On attacking the scenario was much easier(learned from the mistakes of the AI on defending), but still entertaining, the AIs defended the castle well, however they were not enough for my hordes of melees and rain of arrows. An excellent gameplay overall.
The balance was good. It was kinda challenging on defending and took me a few tries to win, however on attacking it was easy enough to win for the first try without thinking a lot about the strategy. And a siege should be challenging on both attacking and defending. I suggest you to ask others to playtest your future maps, that really helps the balance to improve. :)
Overall the map was creative, I liked the effectiveness of the castle and the rather unusual, but tricky placement of pitch ditches, also the shape of the castle was a good point too, it was small, but still a bit complex. A quite good map. An over-average map in creativity.
Map Design: 3
The map design was interesting, however it looked very rushed, and unnatural, except the castle on the hill which looekd kinda good and the structure of the it was very effective as mentioned above. The design could be improved by using the equalizing tool and various terrain types. I suggest you to take a look at the MapMaking101 on the main site or at the Scenraio making bible at Stronghold Knights, many useful things are written their. ;)
Very poor instructions in the description page and no story. This is the highest score I can give.
You have talent in designing, the only thing you should do in order to improve is practicing and of course spending much more time with your future maps.
